INTER-ISLAND EXCHANGE MEETINGS

To date, 3 inter-island exchange visits have taken place as part of the European Small Islands Network Inter-Island Exchange Project (ESIN IIEP).

Each meeting was based on a theme identified as being relevant to the sustainable development of Europe's small islands:

• In April 2005, delegates met in Finland on the Utö to discuss Marine Related Development.   
• In May 2005, there was a meeting on the theme of Housing on the Swedish island of Gullholmen.                                                                                                                                    
• In June 2005, delegates met on the Danish islands of Fejø and Ajersø, where they discussed Agriculture and Nature Conservation.
